Getting Paid

How much does Bidddy cost?

Bidddy charges an insertion fee of $1 + 3.9% of the winning bid but if no bids are placed you are not charged.

Do I still get charged even if my auction doesn't get any bids?

We are here to help grow your sales and engagement on social media. That's why if you don't receive any bids or meet your minimum bid price, you will not be charged for that auction. It's a part of our "No Bids? No Fee." policy. So in other words, it is free to try. But, if you do close an auction and , we charge an insertion fee of $1 + 3.9% of the winning bid. We do not charge a fee for our current Beta version.

How do i get paid for an auction? What are my payment options?

Bidddy currently offers payments using Stripe but we are working on more payment options. Prefer a different payment method? No problem, how you collect payments is up to you.

How do i set up Stripe?

After every auction we will send you an email with a Stripe payment link. This link can be shared with the buyer allowing you to directly get paid. You can also find this link under the "Payment" section of the Closed Auction. Note: Using Stripe does require a Stripe account.

Set up Stripe.

What happens if a winning bidder does not pay?

No worries. We have your back. If the winning bidder suddenly turns out to be a ghost 👻 the next highest bidder gets a Second-Chance Offer (SCO). This means that you can offer the item to them for the price of their last bid.

This creates a situation where you will end up paying a higher insertion fee since it's based on the original winning bid. That's not fair, so if this happens, contact us and we'll reimburse you the difference in insertion fees.
For Example:
Original winning bid: $100
Insertion fee: $100 x 3.9% + $1 = $4.90*
Next highest bid: $50
Insertion fee: $50 x 3.9% + $1 = $2.95*
Reimbursed amount: $4.90 - $2.95 = $1.95
We do not charge a fee for our current Beta version.

Where can i see my auction payment history?

You can view your Payment History in your profile. Just tap profile and select Payment History.

How do i change my payment details?

You can change your Payment Details in your profile. Just tap profile and select Payment Methods.
