To put it simply, Bidddy is content scheduler tool for auctions. The only difference is every time you publish to a social platform using Bidddy, our system automatically keeps track of and confirm bids made in the comment section.

We are even able to detect if a bidder has bid too low, supplied an incorrect bid increment, bid after the end-time has passed, and let them know! This way all you need to worry about is when to post and Bidddy will take care of the rest.

Bidddy provides lots of features including tools to manage and schedule your social auctions, get paid by your customers, and automatically manage bids.

That wouldn't be fair would it? We are here to help grow your sales and engagement on social media. That's why if you don't receive any bids, you will not be charged for that auction. It's apart of our "No Bids? No Fee." policy.

How To Create A Social Auction

On Bidddy, you can create a social auction to help your business grow its online presence and sales.

Requirements:
To use Bidddy you need to make sure you have the following:
- Instagram business account Learn More
- Bidddy account
- Linked bank account so you can get paid quickly and easily! (you can do this later)

Create an Auction
To Create a social auction:

1. Go to the bidddy.com/dashboard
2. Tap the "+" create auction button
3. Give your auction a cool name
4. Choose which account you want to post the auction to.
5. Add a high quality photo of what you will be auctioning off. Tips for a Better Auction
6. Add Auction details:
 - Add a description of your auction item
 - Choose a start and end time as well as a starting bid price. (Note: The start time is also the time the post will be published.)
 - Select additional optional info you would like to include in the description like instructions, shipping and payment details.
 - Turn on 'Powered by Bidddy' if you would like to help us spread the word!
7. Click Next and view a Preview.
8. You are ready! Now Publish Your Auction

That's it! You're auction will be published at the specified start time

Promote Your Auction
Now that your auction is ready to go it is time to start letting people know!

• Post stories at least 5 days in advance to let your audience know it is happening.
• Build anticipation with some teaser posts.
• Have an email list? Notify them as well!
• Ask your influencer friends for a bump!
• If you are running a charity auction, reach out to local press for some media coverage. Also ask anyone donating to the auction to promote to their followers!
• Consider paid IG ads or micro-influencers to boost your reach.
• Consider collaborating with another profile. You can find other businesses running social auctions through Bidddy Live, our online marketplace

Manage Your Auctions
On Bidddy, you can create a social auction to help your business grow its online presence and sales to its full potential! Sometimes things come up where you need to Cancel or Change your auction before it goes live. No problem, it's easy.

Cancel An Auction
Auctions that have not gone live on a social platform can be cancelled through Bidddy. Auctions that are already live and posted on a social site cannot be cancelled through Bidddy, but the post can be removed from the social platform directly. To cancel an Auction on Bidddy:

1. Go to Bidddy.com/dashboard and select the auction you want to cancel.
2. Select "Cancel Auction"
3. Then to confirm the cancellation, click "Yes, cancel auction".

Edit An Auction

1. Go to Bidddy.com/dashboard and select the auction you want to edit.
2. Select "Edit". You can now make any changes you like.
3. Go ahead and make changes to the auction. When ready, view the preview and save changes

That's it! You're edited auction will be published at the specified start time

Get Paid!

Okay, you're ready to auction but want to better understand how you get paid?

No Bids. No fees.
We are here to help grow your sales and engagement on social media. That's why if you don't receive any bids or meet your minimum bid price, you will not be charged for that auction. It's a part of our "No Bids? No Fee." policy. So in other words, it is free to try.

How do I get paid after an auction? What are the payment options?
Bidddy currently offers payments using Stripe but we are working on more payment options. Prefer a different payment method? No problem, how you collect payments is up to you.

How does Stripe Payment work?
After every auction we will send you an email with a Stripe payment link. This link can be shared with the buyer allowing you to directly get paid. You can also find this link under the "Payment" section of the Closed Auction. Note: Using Stripe does require a Stripe account (Set up Stripe).

What happens if winning bidder does not pay?
No worries. We have your back. If the winning bidder suddenly turns out to be a ghost 👻 the next highest bidder gets a Second-Chance Offer (SCO). This means that you can offer the item to them for the price of their last bid.

This creates a situation where you will end up paying a higher insertion fee since it's based on the original winning bid. That's not fair, so if this happens, contact us and we'll reimburse you the difference in insertion fees.
